This post will briefly explore the opening and ending  of the movie “Joe Versus the Volcano”.

 

Opening

This movie has an opening that is characteristic of fairy tales.

Ending

JVtV ends with closing lines that are also very fairy tale-like.

In essence “JVtV” is a modern day fairy tale for  people that are stuck in a miserable position. It gives them comfort and hope that things may be better.
