The next movie I am going to analyse is Dredd (2012.) , directed by Pete Travis and produced by Alex Garland. This movie is an adaptation of the comic “2000AD”. As I have not read the comics, I would be focusing solely on movie during my analysis.
“Dredd” shows as a post-apocalyptic northeastern USA, with its Mega-City 1 and the lawless life in it. This analysis will explore the themes of economy and consumerism, law and order, crime and punishment and a few others.
